Fundamental Income: Internship Program

Fundamental Income (“Fundamental”) is a private, institutionally backed net lease platform. Fundamental is led by seven Partners with a combined 60 years and $16 billion of net lease, capital markets, and real estate experience. Backed by Brookfield Asset Management (NYSE: BN), a $850 billion global asset manager, Fundamental is a dedicated capital source for its clients. Fundamental finances leveraged buyouts, acquisitions, recapitalizations and restructurings, and growth capital primarily through sale leaseback and build-to-suit real estate transactions.

Intern Program:

Fundamental offers spring, summer and fall internship opportunities. Interns experience the culture and environment of Fundamental Income by taking on responsibilities of a full time Analyst, working on numerous corporate transactions, and making meaningful contributions to the delivery of projects. Interns will focus on developing a foundation in the basic skills of financial analysis and real estate valuation. By the end of the program, participants will have the ability to leverage these skills across various finance and real estate applications including net lease, investment banking, consulting, etc. The program culminates with a capstone project whereby the Intern writes an investment memo and presents the transaction to Fundamental’s investment committee.
